About Us

The Communications Workers of America is the official bargaining representative for non-management employees of the new AT&T, formerly known as BellSouth Corporation. CWA members are also employed in the airline industry, printing and news media, public service, health care, cable television, manufacturing, electronics, gas and electric utilities and other fields. CWA holds over 1,000 bargaining agreements that spell out wages, benefits and working conditions for it's members. There are more than 1,200 CWA chartered Local Unions throughout the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, one of which is located in Griffin, GA.

The Local officers and executive board of CWA Local 3215 are deeply committed to our membership. Our mission is to provide first class representation, to be honest, diligent and accessible. Our duties include pursuing adherence to the issues set forth in the collective bargaining agreements, organizing, education, community and political action as well as upholding the Constitution of the Communications Workers of America.
